a.i. solutions Releases New, Enhanced Version of FreeFlyer

April 10, 2007

Lanham, Maryland — Today, a.i. solutions announced the release of its new commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) space analysis software, FreeFlyer 6.0. Over the past decade, previous versions of FreeFlyer have supported both civilian and military space planning endeavors for mission analysis and automated spacecraft operations for the entire mission lifecycle.

FreeFlyer 6.0 incorporates enhancements from over 50 NASA and U.S. military space missions and uses a new graphic interface that includes many user-requested features, such as a completely redesigned navigation system with “drag and drop” functionality.

“Feedback from our Beta testers has been very positive,” said Paul Noonan, Product Division Director at a.i. solutions. “They are finding FreeFlyer 6.0 easy to use and easy to navigate. That is the ultimate result we want for our customers.”

FreeFlyer distinguishes itself from other commercial space analysis software by offering a single-tool, or all-in-one, solution with tiered functionality— versus the traditional a-la-carte modules or components. The single-tool approach streamlines analysis and allows easy integration with third-party software and spacecraft ground systems.

a.i. solutions is rolling out their new product this week at the National Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, Colorado. FreeFlyer 6.0 demonstrations and free training seminars will also be held at various locations across the country in May and June. Please contact a.i. solutions for a complete schedule.
