The Maryland Space Business Roundtable (MSBR) hosts its May 2026 luncheon featuring Victor Hall, Acting Division Director at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
With more than 20 years of experience regulating the safe use of nuclear technology, Hall currently leads the Division of Systems Analysis within the NRC’s Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research. His division oversees the agency’s work on space nuclear safety, applying rigorous regulatory standards to nuclear power and propulsion systems intended for use in space.
In addition to his technical leadership, Hall serves as the NRC’s Responsible Artificial Intelligence Official, guiding the ethical adoption of AI technologies to enhance nuclear safety and security. His career includes oversight of the Vogtle AP1000 nuclear power plant, global nuclear supply chain inspections, and international cooperation initiatives supporting safe and innovative nuclear technologies.
