a.i. solutions to Provide Engineering, Software, and IT Security Services to Kennedy Space Center

Lanham, MD — a.i. solutions announced it is part of a team of companies selected by NASA to provide engineering services and products at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida under the agency’s Engineering Services Contract (ESC).

NASA selected QinetiQ North America of McLean, Va. to fulfill the cost-plus award fee contract, which begins on March 1, 2011, with a.i. solutions as one of the sub-contractors. The contract has a five-year base period with three, one-year option periods. The maximum potential value of the contract is approximately $1.959 billion.

Under the contract, a.i. solutions will provide IT security, software tools development, system engineering, and system administration support. The work will be in support of ground system development, spaceflight systems engineering, and analysis of launch vehicle and spacecraft-payload systems and subsystems.
