Event Background

The Space Software Summit is a premier engineering gathering focused on advancing both flight and ground software in the aerospace industry. Scheduled for October 6-8, 2025, in Boulder, Colorado, this two-and-a-half-day event offers deep technical tracks on flight software architecture, open-source tools, security, algorithm design, and automation. When is the Space Software Summit?

Workshop Day – Monday, October 6, 2025

  • 8:30 am-12:00 pm: Workshops on OpenC3 COSMOS or Nominal Systems
  • 1:00 -4:30 pm: Advanced training including Configuring COSMOS or the MAX Toolbox Suite 

Conference Day 1 – Tuesday, October 7, 2025

  • 7:30 am: Registration, Breakfast & Networking
  • 9:00 am-4:30 pm: Keynotes and sessions on Flight Software, Architecture, Security, Algorithms I, followed by Exhibits & Happy Hour 

Conference Day 2 – Wednesday, October 8, 2025

  • 8:30 am-5:00 pm: Open‑Source, Algorithms II, Automation, plus breakout sessions, wrap‑up, and awards
