Description

Splits the String into multiple elements based on the column widths specified by elements of columnEndPositions, and populates results with those elements.

Method Signature

String.Split(	Array columnEndPositions,
	StringArray results)

Arguments

columnEndPositions
Description:	An Array of character positions indices in increasing order denoting where each column ends.

results
Description:	A StringArray to hold the results of the split.

Return Value

Type:

number

Returns the number of elements in the newly populated results.

Syntax

myVariable1 = myString1.Split(myArray1, myStringArray1);
