Description

Splits the String into multiple elements based on the column widths specified by elements of columnEndPositions, and populates results with those elements.

Arguments

columnEndPositions


Description:

An Array of character positions indices in increasing order denoting where each column ends.

 

 

results


Description:

A StringArray to hold the results of the split.

 

 

 

Return Value

Type:

number

 

 

Returns the number of elements in the newly populated results.

 

Syntax

myVariable1 = myString1.Split(myArray1, myStringArray1);
