NoradStateEstimator Object

The NoradStateEstimator object allows the user to generate a Norad state by using a BatchLeastSquaresOD object which computes incremental state updates to converge on a solution

Timing Precision Mode

This page describes functionality in millisecond timing precision mode. Millisecond timing precision mode is deprecated and will be removed in a future release. We recommend that you migrate your Mission Plans to nanosecond timing precision mode.

DeclaredName	The name of the object as declared.	Type: String Access: Read-Only
FitSpanDuration	The length of the fit span as in the ObservationModel object	Type: Variable Access: Read/Write Units: day
Name	The name displayed for this object in output windows such as views, plots, and reports.	Type: String Access: Read/Write
ObjectId	The unique identifier for the object.	Type: Variable Access: Read-Only
ObjectType	The type of the object.	Type: String Access: Read-Only
ObservationModel	The OrbitStateObservationGenerator object associated with the the SGP4StateEstimator object. This object creates the observations to use in the fit of the trajectory.	Type: OrbitStateObservationGenerator Access: Read-Only
ReferenceSpacecraft	The spacecraft whose propagation model defines the trajectory to be fit.	Type: Spacecraft Access: Read-Only
SpacecraftBeingFit	The spacecraft whose SGP4 state element set is being computed to optimize the fit.	Type: Spacecraft Access: Read-Only
TLEHandler	The TwoLineElement object associated with the the SGP4StateEstimator object. This object facilitates the output of the SGP4 state elements as a TLE.	Type: TwoLineElement Access: Read-Only
UseObservationModel	Flag indicating whether to use observations generated from the ObservationModel. This should only be set to false if the Batch child object is to be configured with a set of observations that are not from a reference trajectory.	Type: Variable Access: Read/Write

ClearSavedStates	Clears previous saved states for this object.
GetFromFile	Load the object state from the specified FreeFlyer object file.
GetFromString	Load the object state from the specified string.
PerformFit	Executes the fit process, and returns whether convergence occurred.
PutToFile	Convert the object state to FreeFlyer object xml and write to a file.
PutToString	Convert the object state to FreeFlyer object xml and return as a string.
ReferenceEquals	Returns 1 if the argument refers to the calling object and 0 otherwise.
Restore	Restore an object's state from a previously saved state.
Save	Save the object's state so that it can be restored later.
SetReferenceSpacecraft	Set the spacecraft whose propagation model defines the reference trajectory.
SetSpacecraftToProcess	Set the spacecraft to use in the norad state estimation process. This Spacecraft must be associated with a Norad propagator.
