FileSystem.Delete(String, Variable) Method

Description

Deletes the specified file or directory path. If path is a directory, all files and subfolders within will be deleted, recursively. If allowMissing is true, any missing files or directories will be skipped. An error will be reported if the delete operation is unsuccessful. Returns the list of files and directories deleted.

FileSystem.Delete(	String path,
	Variable allowMissing)

Arguments

path
Description:	The path to the file or directory to be deleted.
Repeatable:	1 to Unlimited times

allowMissing

Description:

A flag which determines if missing files or directories will be skipped.

Valid Values:

Value	Label
0	false
1	true

Return Value

Type:

Array of string

Returns a StringArray populated with the names of the files and directories which were deleted.
