BRTSObservation Object

Description

The BRTSObservation object holds Measurements associated with the Bilateration Ranging Transponder System (BRTS). This is a system where a ranging signal is transmitted from a Ground Station, relayed through a TDRS Spacecraft to a remote Ground Station, where a Transponder coherently turns the signal around. This signal is then relayed all the way back to the originating Ground Station. The Measurements for a BRTSObservation can include TwoWayRange and TwoWayDoppler.

Observer	The GroundAntenna transmitting the ranging signal.	Type: Object Access: Read-Only
RelaySensor	The Sensor attached to the TDRSTransponder of the TDRS Relay Spacecraft. The Sensor's X, Y, and Z position properties will be used to model an offset from the origin of the Spacecraft BCS when modeling measurements. This property is optional.	Type: Sensor Access: Read-Only
RemoteGroundTerminal	The remote BRTS GroundAntenna receiving the ranging signal.	Type: Object Access: Read-Only
TranslationFrequency	Pilot-tone frequency translation from the return-link TDRS. This is computed from the configuration set in the TDRSTransponder, and can be evaluated using the TDRSTransponder.GetPilotToneFrequencyTranslation method.	Type: Variable Access: Read/Write Units: Hz
TwoWayDoppler	The two-way Doppler measurement associated with this BRTSObservation, in units of Hz.	Type: Measurement Access: Read-Only

UseIonosphericCorrection	A flag indicating whether or not the Ionospheric correction will be used. The Ionospheric correction is calculated when the Observing or remote GroundAntenna references the Earth as its central body.	Type: Variable Access: Read/Write
UseLightTimeCorrection	A flag indicating whether or not the Light-Time correction will be used.	Type: Variable Access: Read/Write
UseTroposphericCorrection	A flag indicating whether or not the Tropospheric correction will be used. The Tropospheric correction is calculated when the Observing or remote GroundAntenna references the Earth as its central body.	Type: Variable Access: Read/Write
