VirtualMatrix.EigenDecomposition(Matrix, Matrix, Matrix, Matrix) Method

Description

Decomposes the matrix M such that M = V D V^-1, where the columns of V are the eigen vectors of M and D is a diagonal matrix where the diagonal elements are the eigen values of M. Any complex components of of V or D will be returned in separate, corresponding matrices.

Arguments

D_real


Description:

The matrix which holds the real components of the eigen values on the diagonal.

 

 

V_real


Description:

The matrix which holds the real components of the eigen vectors as columns.

 

 

D_imaginary


Description:

The matrix which holds the imaginary components of the eigen values on the diagonal.

 

 

V_imaginary


Description:

The matrix which holds the imaginary components of the eigen vectors as columns.

[1,2; 3,4].EigenDecomposition(myMatrix1, myMatrix2, myMatrix3, myMatrix4);
