Spacecraft.MltDescendingNodeError(Variable) Method

Top

Description

Returns the offset from a user-defined Descending Node Mean Local Time (MLT) crossing versus the Spacecraft's MLT crossing at the Descending Node. This method is primarily used for Sun-Synchronous orbits: where the orientation of the orbit is fixed with respect to the Sun and the Spacecraft has a fixed nodal crossing time requirement. This method requires a single argument, which defines the fixed nodal MLT crossing. This base MLT is used to evaluate the difference between the engineer's requirement and the Spacecraft nodal crossing time.
