Top |
DescriptionThe Longitude property is the longitude of the Spacecraft sub-satellite point in the Spherical Lat/Long Element set. It is defined as the angle between the prime meridian and the projection of the position vector onto the fundamental plane of the Body-Fixed coordinate system of the central body. It is measured as increasing in a counterclockwise sense when viewed from the North Pole, thus producing the longitude east from the prime meridian. This property returns a scalar value.
