Particle Flux Maps |
Top Previous Next |
There are four files used for Particle Flux calculations:
For Electrons:
For Protons:
These particle-specific files are three-dimensional tables which contain particle fluxes in energy, L-value, and B/B0 (magnetic field strength normalized to the equator). These 'maps' are used for computing particle fluxes in the Spacecraft.ParticleFlux and Spacecraft.ParticleFluxTimes methods.
For more detailed information on the particle flux models, please see the Goddard Space Flight Center's description here: http://ccmc.gsfc.nasa.gov/modelweb/magnetos/aeap.html
