Dependencies

System requirements information about the FreeFlyer RPM (Red Hat Package Manager) package file can be queried by navigating to the folder containing the RPM and using the following command:

 

 

 

macOS (Beta)

NOTE: FreeFlyer 8.0 is available as a beta release on macOS. This version is not yet endorsed for operational mission usage.

Virtual Systems

The virtual machine must be running one of the supported Windows, Linux, or macOS operating systems listed above and must have virtual hardware equal to or better than the corresponding system requirements. WebGPU support in a virtual environment may require GPU passthrough or a supported virtual GPU. Without compatible GPU access, graphical visualization features such as ViewWindows may not be available.
